CRD Radiator caps & Thermostat renew ?
Coming up to 160,000 Km's on my 2007 JK CRD
Just wondering if I should be considering renewing radiator cap on reservoir and the Thermostat ?
Coolant was changed when the Timing belt & water-pump was done with the Mopar HOAT at 100,000 Km 4 1/2 years ago.
Since change only dropped a cupful on overflow reservoir.
Everything seems OK currently ..... fingers crossed
Engine temp on highway always at just under the 12 O'Clock position
In colder weather like today 9 or 10 C (North of England temps here) at lower speeds & when offroad in low range, temp gauge will often indicate around the 10 o'clock position or just under. (Is this normal) ?
The Thermostat I believe is electronic and not cheap
So has anyone else changed theirs as 'prevention maintenance' ?
