Default 3.0 Diesel Fuel Lines

I need some work to be done on my car that involves the removal of the intake manifold. All mechanics say that usually you get away without changing fuel lines and don't have to change them. Especially when for my car there is Nill stock in the world and I would be going for lines from 2014 mine is 13. They are the same.

The question is have you had any experience with leaking fuel injector lines after work and is it worth NOT changing it when work is done on the car? If I get anything shipped from the US that is going to take a month.

Secondly, what is your experience with RockAuto?

There is only one option. Go for 2014 or onwards I guess. Fuel lines for my specific car are discontinued.

Mechanic parked mine 2013 and his 2014 side by side and compared. He said they are same.

There is a few people here that have reused the fuel tubes when fixing the dreaded coolant hose under the inlet, just make sure to label them so they go back the same way. My cheap online manual says fuel rails can be reused. Don’t check for leaks with your fingers use a piece of cardboard or timber as the pressure can remove your fingers and cannot be seen if the leak is very small

I have replaced the fuel rail pressure sensor at the back of the fuel rail (bank 1) with a second hand one from AGCherokee, they have a crush seal so I torqued it up and gave it a touch more, all good

Thanks Heaps.
Thanks for pointing out. I would not have thought and would have checked with finger (as with experience with honda petrol engine where pres is only 45psi)
