mate if you have never been to one.. then go.
there will be plenty of people out there.. not only AJOR members.
they are only held every 2 years
Best thing about jambo's is the fact you get to meet so many like minded people
its a fun enviroment to be in.. plus you also get ideas on what you would like to do to your own vehicle.
So go and have a blast.

We can highly recommend jamborees run by Qld Jeepers and jamborees in general... we were at the '99 one, our first and loved it ... met great people. There will be a mix of age groups ... I think the biggest concern is cost (petrol and some think the jambo itself), but in 5-10yrs time you won't remember how much it cost ... you'll remember the great time you had!

BLACK DUCK VALLEY

Black Duck Valley has been chosen as the site of the 2006 National Jeep Jamboree. Black Duck Valley 4WD Park has over 800 acres of 4WD tracks that are less than 90 minutes from Brisbane and only 30 minutes from Gatton. Gatton Shire skirts along the eastern edge of the Great Dividing Range. Additionally, there will be other local properties with 4WD tracks that we will be able to access at Jamboree time.

I see there is a one day pass available as a participant or spectator now.

that interests me.

Hopefully this includes being able to roll the swag out for the night as well...
