Default KJ TJM Front bar update :) !!

Well after many weeks of my KJ going backwards & forwards to TJM's skunkworks I can finally say i'm happy with what the last edition of the 3 proptypes look like. Its different to what I originally said, as they changed they're minds every time they stuck a channel up to the front of it.

I had to drop my offroad set or wheels & tyres off today as they want to fit them up & make sure that the "nominal upgrade" of 254/75/16's tyres dont rub. So far so good. They had a winch & the biggest Lightforce lights on the market on the front of it today just to see what the final 'overall look' looks like. As far as I can describe, its almost a combination between the RockLizard & ARB bars, with a fair bit of TJM flare thrown in !! I'm happy with, it looks very purposeful, & i'd say less than 1/2 the weight even in steel than the ARB one would be. Being that as it may, i've decided to go with the full steel bar from a safety point of view, not to mention it would look much better than a polished alloy one.

Now for the best part ! Paul (guy in charge of R&D) is going to do me a bit of a custom special once they've finalised the bar. He's going to bring back the amount that the bar sticks out by about50-75mm for a better approach angle. This is achieveable as I wont be running a winch, so they can chop out a bit of the structure to bring the bar back closer to the front grill !! Woohoo!!
As soon as I get permission, i'll post a couple of teaser pics.

Sometimes it's easier to ask forgiveness than permission.

Post 'em up! I'll probably go with the ARB/Warn combo, but I like seeing what other options I have.

Actually no Roger, I have'nt said anything to them nor have they mentioned anything ? But I know they are concentrating hard on the KJ front bar for the moment.

bloody hell it looks sweet, I cant stop looking at my photos ! lol!
Its more of a purpose built rock bar / winch&spottie platform then anything !!

Stu,
I'm in the market...Have written off the ECB option, worried about the weight of the ARB and maybe this TJM will be the one for my CRD.
How long
