Default Any good places around Brisbane

I was just wondering if there are any little tracks or places just to have a mess around on, I spotted a unreal rutted hill climb a couple of weekends ago near Mt.Cotton - double diff lock kind of track and big suspension lift or big tire kind of track, not sure I would take a stock TJ up it...

I asked the guys at Hammonds the other day and they said Landcruiser MTN park - not real close is it?!!

Kinda busy the next couple of weeks, but I wouldn't mind doing MT Mee again.
(near Dayboro)

We might sneak up to Double Island Point this weekend. Very boring just a cruizy trip to Rainbow for a beer and lunch.

If your keen let me know.

I'm going to have to check the Sensis 'where is' website to get an idea where those places are you mentioned OIIIO!

I haven't taken delivery of my TJ yet, it was suppose to be this week but it failed its RWC and the guy has to pay $1500 worth of new extractors on it for me Thanks for the offer, I'll PM you if I get it this week.

So there's nothing closer around BNE????

Mt Mee as OIIIIO said, Ormeau down the way to the coast, Glasshouse Mountains and others. Do a search on here as there have been plenty of threads about it. Couple of parks such as Cruiser Park, cityview, one at warwick.

there are a few muck around tracks just off mt gravat capalabar rd, across the road from where the pie van stops near the cnr of prout road,

just near the tilly rd round about, not the other prout rd,

not really worth a special trip unless your as close as i am, but on a rainy day its a little bit of muddy fun

Thanks for that grandjg, I'm at Cannon Hill so reasonably close for me too. I'll have to get some descent tyres first I think as my TJ came with HT tyres.
