Default easter present for my tj ( with pics)

treated the tj to a new rear bar and tyre carrier this weekend. i had 4 days off and built a rear bar with a swing away tyre carrier. I had most of the steel lying around the house wich was very helpful. here's a few pics of the build up. For the swing away i picked up a stub axle and hub from supercheap. then got the local welder to cut around the hub so it wasn't so round. feel free to ask me questions if ya interested on how i did it, Mitch.

Looks good. But can I ask why did you go with a swing away in the opposite direction to the tailgate? Just curious.

Regarding mounting bolts, have a look for frame tie-in kits for ideas. They are cheap to get or even cheaper to build with your skills!! I wish I could do such fabrication myself.
