Default Melb Jeep in Brissy June09 Lookin for tracks: THE SPRINGS
Hey people, im in Brissy and GoldCoast areas until the 17th of June 09.
Im looking for places to go wheeling, any input much appreciated.

I will be at The Springs this Thur & Fri 11th & 12th June camping both nights if anyone is interested to join me.
Also If anyones got anything going this weekend (13th & 14th) and got room for one more car i wouldn't mind Tagging along.

cannot join you but if you want some self guided drives there is a book which may help. Also covers some of the private parks such as Landcruiser. Short of that you could try contacting Gold Coast Jeep Club, Brisbane Jeep Club or Sunshine Coast Jeep club who i think are all listed on here.

just make sure you take a jumper, the springs is effing cold this time of year 0 to -5 most nights in winter, where bouts are you staying on the weekend?

i have a room in a high rise in surfers for the weekend and the following week, im only out at the spring tomorrow and friday.

Thanks for the tip though i'll make sure i rug up from the cold.
We take off 9am tomorrow (4 of us going) looking forward to it

well if you saw me today you would of seen shortstuff on the back of a 'Flat Bed Truck'!
I had a fantastic day all day friday at the springs (camped thurs fri) but the drive home wasnt so pleasant
I did a front wheel bearing and had to call 'Jeep Assist' for a tow

Jeeptheone- i would of been with you at Scenic Rim 4x4 park but my rigs out of action, atleast till monday when Brissy Jeep take a look at it.


millhouse- you were right about it being cold we all froze our tits off! ice covered everything fri morn i thought i was at the snow fields lol

A bunch of Jeeps turned up Friday night, i dont know if your on AJOR but i was the black jeep you all passed coming into the camp ground waving
(i'd just made it up 'Have a go hill')

ps the springs is under new management (just 6 weeks), Neil the new owner is a top guy. loves a chat
