Fouros, not a prob at all. You could take advantage of the existing wiring harness and splice the wires in. An Aluminium bracket that bolts onto the existing steel wheel carrier would work easy, then mount up the antenna. I'm shit at photoshop and stuff like that, but could easily sketch up a pic for ya when we meet ?

Glad my pic was useful!

Couple of points;
- If you mount the antenna between the tyre and the door then you won't be able to open the flip-glass unless you open the swing-gate. Which is a bit of a PITA. Better, and simpler, would be to mount it on the cover that folds over the wheel. There's some reasonably sturdy metal structure underneath the plastic that you could probably bolt some sort of bracket to. You might need to check that it's earthed properly though.
- By all accounts that's a crap place to mount an antenna because the body of the car blocks a lot of the signal coming from (or going towards) the front. On the roof's best (if you haven't got a roof rack) , then on the bullbar, since in both those cases you've got a nice big flat bit of metal more or less level with the base of the antenna.
- Not sure what wires you could "splice in", I'm almost certain that there aren't any co-ax cables there to connect to the antenna! But yes, you could run the co-ax through the existing conduits and grommets through the door and into the interior of the vehicle.

I also won't be going with you to condamine george. Which is a shame. Have fun!
