Default WH/XH Heim (Rose) Joint Outer Tie Rods

We wanted to let the forum community know that JeePerf had just released its newest product. It is a set of Heim joint based, height adjustable outer tie rods based on our successful Sahara SD tie rod system. Our outer tie rods will mount into your existing OEM, inner tie rods and restore your lifted vehicle's steering geometries. Please visit our website jeeperf.com for further information and let us know if you have any suggestions, questions or requests. Thank you for your support.

Beautiful!!
Can you post a photo with the heim adjusted higher, just for interest.
I assume the "ball" is threaded and locked by the nut, and just end-up with a gap between the ball and "flange" (for lack of knowing the correct terms.)?

How do we hold the ball to stop it turning while tightening the lock-nut?
Or is it unthreaded and we put a nut on either side?

You install the pin into the spindle. You hold it in place using its keyed base plate. You then tighten the lock nut very tightly. Now, then pin is mounted solidly into the spindle and should not rotate. You can now add the base "cup", Heim joint with misalignment spacers, and top lock nut.

To further clarify, this setup, as pictured, puts the Heim joint about two inches above the spindle, which works well with OME, BB and other typical 2-3" lifts. It sets the steering geometry back closer to pre-lift factory specifications, and has another 1" of further height adjustment to accommodate higher setups.

That answers my question thanks for the info and photo!
I'll be ordering a few things in ~6 months when time allows.

It looks like when all tightened up, the base cup is compressed against the spindle rather than against the base plate of the pin. That should eliminate any torque/stress through the "extended" section of the pin ay?
