Default Transfer Case Upgrade

Looking at replacing my TC with an aftermarket one. Obviously the Atlas is the prime candidate (10.3 4 speed) but I like the look of the STaK Mini Monster box.

Does anyone here run a Stak Monster or Mini? - SImilar money to the Atlas but I don't think there are any agents in Ausi so support would be an issue.

what do you wait to gain with the upgrade? are you going to replace all the driveline of just the box? if you in the long term are going to upgrade the big diffs, big rubber, and alot more poney's under the hood, either an atlas or stak would be sweet... but if you want a better crawl ratio for your current setup it could be worth looking at a teralow(bang for buck). also i dont know how often you would use a 10:1 reduction on a set of 35's here. but dont get me wrong it would be cool

Yeah, the Terra is an option but my modifications have been a tale of half assed upgrades I had to do again and going the Terra would be another one.

My plans are Atlas or Stak then in a year diffs ( I figure the Dana's will be rooted by then).

Then I will go 37's with long arms and it will be a weekend vehicle....will need a stretch too

Engine wise I reckon the stock motor will be fine with the Atlas/Stak and some 5:13's or similar in the R&P.

The motor mod would be getting the 4.0 stroked and so forth - no plans for a v8 - overkill for what I want.

We had supply issues with the Stak - the Altas although (slow cause it is custom built for each application) is better proven for delivery.
The flipped D300 is another option.
Or the NP231 can be beefed up.
But really the Altas is the way to go.
