i have snapped one axle, which upon inspection seemed to be caused by the loss of an end cap (hence why they are tacked now)
Ill be going 35" muds once i tear these tires apart, and as for the diff, with a locker im limiting the torque to each axle to 50% rather then a possible 100%.
with moly axles, those beefy sleeves, C gussets and stonger crown i think the worst i could do is snap a moly axle, which is a cheap fuse for the drivetrain and wont leave me stranded.
I may just be being naive, but with lockers, lift, gearing and disconnects i should no longer have to drive my rig like a madman possessed to get to hard to reach places like i currently do, hopefully with more traction i can drive slower and in a more controlled manner....well thats the theory anyway!
what i wanted to avoid was spending 8k on a bulletproof diff and move the weaklink to the transfer case or gearbox!

meanwhile my wife broke down in the jeep again (2nd slave cylinder) but i no longer get angry at the jeep...i love my jeep too much! i well and truly have the jeep bug, is there a cure before i go bankrupt?

Bankruptcy is outta the question so looks like im a jeeper for life... even if they are under engineered and less reliable then some other 4wbys...they will just never be as awesome.
Im changing my ratio choice to 4.10, but im open to ideas?
i plan on doing a few nullabour trips, i want the needle around 2000-2100 at 100km,

456 on 35 gives me around 2200rpm at 100 6speed.
the tune does amazing things for the CRD get it before picking what ratio you want as the power is amazing over factory
