KK steel bullbar
Cheers guys, it was stock for what seemed a long time while I dreamed and saved up. It looks badass with the steel wheels but I'm waiting till I have new MT tyres. Oh but Jeep'ers I haven't finished yet. Looks like sliders will be the next mod. Back to the topic, I tried both 3.2 and 4.7 shackles, the 3.2 in the photo almost fits and the 4.7 had no chance. If anything I'll need to go smaller. Will visit a 4wd store tomorrow to suss it out. Have any other KKers with the Uneek bar dealt with this?

My KK is currently over at STU's getting some trail repairs done but hoping to have it back in a day or two... I'll be able to test those recover points as I hadn't done so yet either and this news really surprises me!
I also have a pair of Uneek's front tow hooks that attach to the bar so can at least let you know if they'll work as an alternative.

Cheers Mik, if you're talking to Stu maybe ask him if he can test what shackles work given that he's a reseller. The best I found are these little things at SCA, rated at only 1.4t I'll keep looking.

Not having seen this bar or the recovery points in person it's hard for me to comment. But is there any way the recovery point can be moved over if not maybe the cutout should have been closer the middle of the bar inline with the 4bolts on the front. You could always just trim it a bit to open the whole the recovery point sticks out from.

Yes - noticed the other weekend when I needed to be pulled out of a bog hole.

Hi Single_single... not sure of how you use your jeep - but if you plan on doing any decent 4wding I would consider relocating those lights.
They are asking to be ripped off.
