Cheap Flee bay Snorkels
Just wondering if there is any difference in those $150.00 snorkels for my Tj and the much pricier Safari snorkels? Someone told me that the cheapies aren't UV resistant but the item description says they are...anyway, what's ya thoughts either way lads?

Yeah no worries mate. Did you use an Australian EBay seller or did you go over seas and what was it like to install? I can't justify the price difference with the Safari...after all, it's only a bit of plastic.

I bought one of the ebay snorkels and have it on my TJ. The only problem I have with it is that it is difficult to remove and replace the upper half door skins (have to remove a couple screws from the top bracket of the snorkel, then kind of bend it out).
Installation is not a problem if you have common sense, because mine did not come with the template and instructions (Australian seller). There are a couple of sellers on Ebay who have them, but the first one I tried ordering from said it would take them 8 weeks to get it to me. They were obviously sourcing it from overseas and didn't have any in stock at the time; after a quick chat they were more than happy to provide a refund and I bought it off the other seller.
No issues with it at all and has been on for about a year now.

I use a flea bay snorkel too, with good results. The only difference between the cheaper Chinese made items & the Safari worth talking about is the lack of fitting instructions. I fit snorkels on an almost daily basis, so that wasn`t a problem for me. The TJ setup is simple...my grandson could fit one.

Thaks for the replies guys! Much appreciated. I have sent an email off to a seller on eBay asking if the snorkel comes with a fitting template and then I'll decide what the next move is.
