I have found I have a leaking head gasket. Ah well. Out with the tools. Suppose it will keep me out of trouble working on it.

time to investigate my diesel smell, think it could be the injector return lines, and the old girl has a few misses when it fires up on a cold morning,
replaced one the other week as I come out of an auto parts shop and there was a puddle of diesel on the ground

Injector return line is expensive for the good stuff. I got a meter of it a few months ago. Always make them too long, that way if they start to leak, you can cut 1/2" off & reuse the bit of line.
Missing on cold mornings is more likely a dead GP.

Yeah I can't believe I fitted 33's on the XJ and about to fit the rebuilt front bar with new winch cradle, recessed the winch down 55mm to hide the XJ's 5" lift
Next on the build list, rear bar and sliders after the flares/ fender clearance cuts
