I replaced the dreaded Front prop shaft CV'S today.
and im glad i got onto it as i found the transfer case end CV boot trashed and a pretty dry CV inside, front wasn't to bad but was pretty loose compared to the new one. OH Bashed my Thumb trying to get the front CV off the shaft, holy crap did that hurt to the point off blood and feeling very light headed.
After all that ive still got a BLOODY CLUNK in the front Grrrr, but now thats slack in the front diff, do jobs never end on these machines. so i guess now ill have to look at getting the front diff looked at.
Got around to installing an Oricom UHF today, relatively easy install now I've got the hang of getting wires through the firewall and dash. Heavy duty velcro mounting the unit under the passenger seat, seems super strong but will see how we go.
Also removed the number plate flip from the bar as I think it's the source of park sensors going off randomly.
Bae had new 33" shoes fitted last week in the form of Falken Wildpeak at3w
Hey Slippery awesome looking jeep! mine looks almost exactly the same im running the JK rims and just fitted 285s yesterday. What if any spacers are you using? your wheels dont seem to be sticking out of the guards by the looks of your photos.
