Sorry I didn't see this sooner. I had similar a couple of years ago. Things went really weird including the AC on heat in the middle of summer! Not what you want.
I pulled the rubber boot off the door harness and found the earth had cracked. Put in a whole new section using silicone wire which is more flexible. So far so good.

Yes you seem to get a whole swag of weird problems....apart from my windows not working the AC/Heater wouldn't work at all.

My heater doesn't work (not like yours) but I don't think fixing those wires is going to help, more likely the vent door. Don't need it at the moment LOL so will fix a few other probs first.

Does sound concerning if they said it had been ‘fixed three times before’. Fixed but not properly, or this is going to happen again?

They reckon it was a bit of a hack job and not done professionally.

It's been a while now and everything, well almost, is working fine. Just noticed that every now and then the rear d/s window comes down when I start the car up????? It was doing this before and after a bit of testing it all seems to be about how quick I turn the ignition on. Quickly and it goes down (sometimes), slowly and not at all, any ideas anyone?
Oh I was having trouble logging on so had to re-registration using this user name, bit of a bummer really as I now don't get any notification on my previous posts
