Headlamp protection
Is there any kind of stick-on clear cover (like vinyl wrap) that you can get to put on the headlamps to protect from stones etc when travelling on dirt roads? Something that you can peel off when you get home?

Paint protection film would be a possibility (essentially a clear vinyl), just not sure of any implications relating to covering your lights (refraction, etc.). This is also usually more of a long-term temporary solution to protect paint (i.e. a few months/years as opposed to just for a trip). If you give a vehicle wrapping place a ring I'm sure they could help you out or point you in the right direction

I have been using Light Skinz, the stuff in the link from Troutman for years on many vehicles, thick version for glass the thinner stuff for the plastic ones, once fitted it stays on, certainly saved a few of my lights and the added bonus is the light doesn't get sunburnt where the film covers it............... take your time putting it on so you don't stuff it up, you have one chance......
