Wrangler was just a heavy duty (900CCA), the Cherokee with the stop/start was 850CCA glass mat AGM. I guess that's why it was replaced under warranty. They were under the bonnet and got way too hot.

Don’t the tempted to leave the AGM to the very end on early WK2’s as our dear friend Mr Alternator has to huff and puff slightly more 🤞

I've only just replaced the battery in my 2015 a couple of months ago. At over $500 a pop, I'm glad they have a long life span.

I am still on original battery MY12, so just over 10 years.. no sign of slowing down or anything yet.
I do run dual batteries so that takes a little pressure off the main battery, but it isn't setup to start off the second battery.. Although if something goes wrong I can jump start from the second battery through the isolater,

replaced my late 2013 my14 original battery last year but it was still going strong
when i changed it out of precaution.
The replacement was a Century agm which only has a 3 year warranty.
Just shows you they can build a good battery if they really want to.
Somone told me the originals were made by Panasonic Japan ?
