Low Oil Pressure
My oil pressure has droped off. Once I have been driving for a while the pressure drops to just over 2 bars at 100km. Then when i am at idle it sometimes goes below 1 bar and causes the check engine light to activate.
What should I do???????

Low Oil Pressure
When was the last time you did an oil change? If the oil is ok, may be the oil filter is stuffed and not allowing the oil past. Not sure about the Jeeps setup, still getting to know the whole Jeep thing. The incorrect oil will also give an incorrect reading. If you are get the light to light up, may be you should not start it, just in case.
I did noticed on a friends Jeep after a drive in the bush, that the oil pressure was down to 1.5 bar. He had only just have a service at Jeep.
Hope this helps.

Low Oil Pressure
Fud,
One more thing, check the oil for diesel fuel. You can smell the fuel in the oil, then theres a problem. As little at 5% dilution will cause a lot of wear.

Low Oil Pressure
If it has been recently serviced make sure it's not over full. Too much oil and the crankshaft whips it into a froth and it sucks alot of air and you lose pressure. Happened to me after my first service at a dealer no less. Lost all pressure, check the oil and it was WAY above the full mark. Drained some out and no more problem.
