I worked at a JEEP Stealership, if you want an auto I would march in there and get the auto.... They will do it cause A) a man wrangler UNlimited is gonna sell and 2) Most Jeep yards are "5 star" In other words they have to get 10/10 customer service feed back ect. ect. Just say you ll complain about the yard to Damiler chrysler. If they don't help you out Call Jeep australia, they love hearing about **** like this..
Most and I say Most Car sales people dont know **** about cars and what they do know is all from a 2 day training course, They just do it as a job to pay the bills.. There are not many of us who have a real passion for cars..
Remember the salesman may be new so take it easy on them, they are prob. more nerves then you and about the whole bull bar thing he may of meant there are no JEEP bullbars, he may not know that ARB exist hehe Good luck and Go the unlimited they look awsome!!!

Whoa, I wish I'd seen this thread earlier !
The best advice I can give ( besides DO NOT GIVE UP DRINKING !! ) is to perservere until you find a salesperson who is on your wavelength. Even though the Sydney dealers have complained long and loud about the duopoly in Brisbane, you still have choices. Call Southport, Redcliffe, anyone, until you find someone you like. We all buy the cars at the exact same prices, we can all match each others deals, it's just the people who make the difference.
Another thing, I just don't understand why people think it's ok to buy an expensive item from someone who wouldn't own one themselves....
