New to me transmission fitted up today, stalling issue seams to be sorted but early days.
Mechanic used Hytec ATF, never heard of it but he says its the right stuff and wouldn't use anything else.

Fitted an aftermarket aluminium radiator today, it is an eBay one for a V8 but fitted in without needing any mods. No point posting a pic as you can't really see any difference other then a radiator cap on the radiator.

Took it for a drive and there is a noticeable difference on the temp gauge, now sits under half like it is supposed too.
Used a 30% Nulon Blue coolant (OAT) what Merc use, about 12.5 litres.

Only a small thing today , but a big improvement and one happy chap.
after 14mths of owning the jeep i have finally sorted the knock in the front end, gezz it had me always disheartened the bloody thing.
after loads of internet searches and looking at the front end lots and lots of times and replacing bits it lead to the steering rack knock.
so i grabbed my 1/4 drive with 15mm socket and tighten it a bit (took a few seconds), AND WOOOHOOO not rattles/knocks. saying im wrapped is an understatement its been pissing me right off for a long time.and it was such an easy little job. Only wish i knew of it sooner(did even think of the rack i must be slipping)
cheers AUS JEEP and other forums for the info.
