Replaced a front Pioneer speaker which I had repaired the braid once or twice prior. WTF the stereo is a fair bit louder and sounds so much clearer. The speaker must have been buggard and not allowing full output. Wish I picked up another set now, got the pair for $45 from a clearance at Autobarn a couple of weeks ago.
Regards A

Found and fixed(read; bodged) the vacuum leak thats plagued me for yonks...
The vac. lines for the heater have gone brittle, as have a lot of other lines and hoses, rubber bends etc. Don't think I'll have heat in the cabin for a while... the bloody lines snapped off just inside the firewall....

i know how you feel i did the same thing, but when i replaced my evaporator core a ran the vac line on top of the evap core and out the fan box.
the vac line has a join just inside the cabin which you cannot get to, unless the whole dash comes out, pretty good spot to put a join.
best be would be run another line through the fire wall and up under the dash

Fitted new uni's to the rear tailshaft. Took the tailshaft out and attempted to DIY but they wouldn't budge. Took it to Driveline Services and said 'fix it', which they did very nicely.
