Personal opinion, I think the 170's will be to big to sit beside the windscreen, and with HID in them to bright sitting above the bonnet.

Point taken seacomms, but end of the day its just a jeep thing. Prob more looks than anything. I'll have them on a switch as well as through hi beam so if they bother me too much i can switch off.

well problem is u will need to modify the fitting (grind down some of the base plate that slots and turns into the fitting) to work. I know that regardless if u have the 07 fogs or the 2010+ fogs (different globes) i couldnt find them at all in hid globes. I think I ended up using a h9 or something, cant remember now, and modified it.
The 07 housings i used a h6 and the 10 in there now i think was the h9, modified both
