they have a mud racing competition up here over the wet season, which starts on October the 18th, its basically a figure 8 track with real deep mud, its shouldnt be too deep on the first round, they reckon its about a metre.. Im so tempted to do the first round, but i reckon it will completely wreck me wagon... what do ya reckon? I rang em up and they said a pajero went in it last season and only lasted 3 races.. i dont wanna completely F#$% me wagon, do you think with the right preperation, i.e lanolin, silcon spray and grease the buggery out of it ill be right? i dont mind busting small stuff like uni's, driveshafts etc, but dont wanna destroy it..
OR maybe i should just buy a rust bucket, put mongrels on it and do the whole season.... probably work out cheaper... |
Mate do yourself a favour and go watch Round 1 before you dive in without knowing what your getting into.
Mud racing in no place for a car that you care more than 2c about...
Buy an old Zuk, bang some 35" Tractor tyres on it, install CIG lockers (if have the inclination put some Patrol/Cruiser diffs under her) and go it.
