Top one only with reduced slots for me. Unless the rad needs the bigger slots.

Now you mention it, all I can see is truck grille.
I have a feeling you may need to reduce the slot length by 50mm as you suggest. Have you tried moclomg it up with some cardboard to see what it'd lool like, might be worthwhile trying.

Keep the options coming please as really not sure what to do.
My wife thinks it might be because you can see through too easily. Maybe it just needs some black mesh directly behind the grille bars and no horizontal bars then needed?

I think it's a little too tall. I'm not sure any mesh behind would help, would possibly make it more obvious.
Maybe you need a big old school 4 post bullbar to help

I agree, 5 looks to busy. How high can you lift the top bar so you can’t see the top of the slots. Could you lift the bumper?

I need the grille to remain as tall as it is, so just in the process now of shortening the grille slots by 50mm-2" which will bring them back to stock length. I will then add metal below the slots to fill that space back in. It makes it exactly the same as the distance at the top. I will then see if I need to raise the bumper and valance to balance it all out. Still hoping not to use the stock add on grille bars at love the iconic look of seeing the full length slots uninterrupted.
