Got told by the local HWP at an RBT this morning that I "need to get myself some Bushwackers". Seeming as I don't typically like being told what to do, I guess it's TJ flare time.

Did a quick trip to Corryong last night. 600km round trip. Had to pick up a friends comadore ute. he had cooked it on weekend. On way back just on outskirts of Wodonga at about 11.00pm was passed by police in territory towing a small trailer. They had no lights on back of trailer or the car except number plate light. when I first saw them going past was expecting to be pulled over as XJ diesel has a very low tow weight limit. Lucky they just kept on going. Would have been an interesting discussion had they stopped me. Jeep went well. Back in 2nd on a couple of the hills about 30km from Corryong. Did ~ 90km/hr on the flat. Felt like a rocket after dropping the car & trailer off.

I know we should try to buy local, but when I was quoted a little over $300 for these 02 sensors, I will buy from "Rock Auto" as well.

What did you do to your XJ today ?
Filled up after a couple hundred on mainly highway 14.2ltrs per 100. So the ford injectors haven't made it any worse..got a new phone and got a new obd 2 wifi sender on order.. iPhone was too fussy with my existing Bluetooth sender, I want to experiment with the dash command app. Apparently give me readout on hp, instantaneous/average economy, rpm, diagnostic.

Hahahaha, I know mine is pretty good on fuel compared to other Xj's but it's not that good, my fuel tank is 125L, I can get low 11's on the highway pretty easily and that's at 110kmh, at 100kmh it gets better....
