Silicone Hose Update
Update on Silicone Hoses. Apparently not too far away.
Email from WRS
"Attached is a picture of the First JK Jeep hoses, these are due to leave the UK today so will be end of the week and we should have them on the JK for a trial fitment then order all the Kits we need".
Reckon these will do the job nicely (and colourfully)

i thought this would be the best thread to post it in. there is a slight fluttering noise when under acceleration. it sort of sounds like the turbo spoiling but not a clean whistle. im new to diesels but im used to driving petrol turbos and the sound is similar to a slight hole in the manifold. could there be another cause for it in a diesel as im all new to this. its an 08 unlimited. cheers

Not sure but I have slowly become used to diesel "noises"....one thing though that did drive me nuts was a sound very similar to what you describe. After 3rd visit to dealer they discovered it was a small emission valve that wasn't working properly. From memory it was sticking open or shut can't remember. I did post something about it a year or so ago. Ask them to check.

I tried a variety of things...generally suggested by my country dealer. The dealership that sussed the problem was Wanneroo Jeep here in Perth...but I had to persist. It drove me nuts!
