They usually burn out if you are running higher watt globes. It's strange the problem is there with headlights off though. If you run relays for headlights like the JJ harness upgrade, you may simply have a bad relay. I think you are now nearly at the end of this saga. Good luck with it.

I think seeing I tend to shy away from anything electrical, I will try and confirm the headlight switching on and off is the fix, and unless I can find why or how and replace a part of some sort, I think I probably will go and see a sparky, but first want to insure it was not a one of thing with the headlights on, although (yeah took some time to finally make that connection in my head) it has never ever missed/stuttered at night time.
I have got non factory globes installed due to the factory ones being so dim.
but they have been there since 2014 without any probs.

Come to think of it, I think the previous owner installed a wiring loom/part at the highlights, as when I put the diff globes in it I noticed aftermarket stuff as in wiring and relay that was in my eyes added afterwards. Not sure what it is or what quality it is but the problem might be coming from there somehow, seeing lights on and off seems to be doing something.

Just another dodad to help regulate charge voltage.
It's a spring loaded disc under the battery. [emoji106]

Pulled the battery out, and yeah there is a battery temp sensor under it, weird ass thing. Cleaned it, cleaned the battery tray, cleaned underneath the battery and put it all back in. Don't think anything will be diff, but will see when I go to the oldies for lunch.
