JK Rear Bumper Roundup
I think it's more versatile than the terra, can fit more options an all up is cheaper than the terra , not by much though. The terra has no work light capablity, nor rotopax mount options. Just my 2c
.
The difference between theory and practice is, in theory there is no difference...

Why would I buy a terraflex one? All it does is strengthen the hinges and fit a wider/deeper offset wheel does it not? And it weighs 21kg! Id get the maximus and day.

It doesn't so much strengthen the hinges. It replaces them completely with something that's far more robust. It relieves all weight from the rear door so there is no leverage on the door at all meaning it won't weaken over time. It allows for fitment of much larger tyres and adjustability to make the larger tyres fit as low as possible with whatever rear bar you're running and has accessory locations in for high lift jack holder etc. Also comes with a spare mounted licence plate holder which was handy for me. Mean't I didn't have to put it on the bumper and keep knocking it with my knees whenever I go in the back. It also works without the need to remove the centre hub cap from the wheel which is good if you're running alloys with centre covers.
The maximus one may have more inbuilt accessory options but I'm pretty sure any of those things could be fitted to the Teraflex one if required. That said, it horses for courses. That's the great thing about the JK's.......so many options and something for everyone.

I got the Teraflex one for $420USD direct (last year when the AUD was higher). I still haven't fitted it! but it should be on there soon.

I think this is what you are talking about;
http://www.offroadelements.com/teraf...ck-cb-antenna/
It takes a Rotopax and/or High lift jack and has an aerial mount.
Man this thing is quality, just found these pics;

Hey guys, just wanted to post up some new booty pics of my JK. Allow me to introduce you to my Smittybilt Atlas rear bar:
The install wasn't too bad, the only frustrating part was fitting the tyre carrier section, there is a great thread on a Jeep forum from the States, which was really helpful!! My only real complaints I have is this thing is heavy, so I'm thinking air bags will be on my to do list, also there is some noise coming from the latch when going over bumps. This is my first wheel carrier, so I am not sure if they all make a bit of noise when going over bumps? I think that once the hi-lift and 2 x Jerry cans are on the weight would settle things down.
All in all, I am pretty happy with it, it will come in very handy when going away on weekend trips.
A big thank you to JeepKonection for their help, never had a bad experience with these guys to date *touch wood*

That is a nice looking bar. You mentioned it takes 2 jerry cans where do they fit on it? You reckon it would need airbags? How much do you think it weighs?
