I ended up going with one from Amazon, found a seller on there that shipped to Aus for a good price and went with them. Was around $500 all up, I wanted to try and find a old one but got impatient.
Thanks for the tip James, I'll see what they say when I give them a bell. I totally agree with you on the lifter tick, I've had success in other engines with some oil treatments (Mitsubishi 4G63) and my old Ford Windsor had it also, I'll start pumping the right oil into it and go from there.

No worries, let us know how you go... especially if you try an oil treatment.
A lot of guys on the US mopar and jeep forums swear by Sea Foam, in regards to the hemi tick I mean. But I haven't been game to try anything.

Drained, Flushed and Refilled the cooling system today, refilled with Nulon One Coolant as it met all the specs. Mixed as a 50/50 mix good for -37c to 128c and 10yrs or 1,000,000kms, dont think i will have to worry bout it freezing here in AUS anytime soon LOL.

I just did that with mine. 50/50 mix Nulon coolant made it run hotter. I now since diluted it down to 33% All seems to be ok now .

So how much hotter? The majority say the average is under half way on the gauge. During summer mine sits just over half, never considered the coolant strength as an issue before.
