Capped-price servicing
Sorry if this has been posted before, but looks like Jeep has introduced capped-priced service in Australia
You can get a quote here.

My 2 year service, which is scheduled for next week, went down from around $1500 to $703.

Are you sure that's capped price servicing? Looking at that link and reading the terms and conditions, my understanding is it is only a quote. Towing and offroad use are also not included in that program.

Isn't that just a quote?! The dealers does have a list of the service cost that you can look at. You just need to go and ask for it.

Story here:

They call it capped-price service. As stated my 24 month service, from the same dealership dropped from $1500 to $703 (called and confirmed), so whatever it is I am happy

I have fixed price servicing from when I purchased in Dec 2012 @$350 per CRD service. I conveniently forget to mention it on minors but remember for majors which means it's the most I've paid. Heaps cheaper for the 40k.....

I do have a list of all service cost listed for each service given to me by my dealer. That's their "capped" price which is what I pay for service.

I wouldn't go back to the only local dealership here again, even if the services were free, and they were giving away round the world cruise tickets.
