I replaced my bushes recently as I had noticed a gradually increasing rattle from front as I had had before they were replaced about 100K ago.
Changing them over was fairly straightforward; not technically difficult but the bolts (21mm) are pretty tight to loosen and a bit awkward, but not too bad.
Any way, rattle has gone, but replaced by a squeak! I wonder if I should have put rubber grease on the bushes before fitting them?
I just watched a UTube video of someone changing bushes (different vehicle, but similar setup) and they greased the bar and the bushes!! I guess I might have to pull em out and grease em up!
I've just about replaced everything, and still a rattle.
One thing that was causing a squeak was the the upper strut rubber mount. Jeep said $1,000 to replace the strut complete, RockAutos supplied upper mounts for both sides around $100 landed.
