i thorught right hand drive wranglers where built in Austria? the TJ was. not in the USA. but i could be wrong.
Im a wharfie in sydney and the ships that come from europe(spelling??) take about 4 month to get to sydney with all the stops they do on the way over.
And im realy posative theres NO direct ship rout from USA to Australia. It gos via Asia.
I would hate to pay the storage fee for 8000 cars.

All JK's and TJ's built in the states ( or mexico). The WJ (WG) and ZJ (ZG) were built in Austria i believe.

Actually, TJs and JKs are all made in the USA in their Toledo (Ohio) plants, whether RHD or LHD. Grand Cherokee (RHD) is the one that is made in Austria.

I was told by my dealer that mine was complete two weeks ago and waiting for a boat, is due in Aus in the beginning of July, a week or so on the warf, then taken to another location of ADR compliance, QC checks and accessory fitment etc. Supposed to be ready for pickup end July/early August.
Of course now I'm nervous, if what you're saying turns out to be true.
I'm gonna request an update tomorrow.
