Xbox 360 to PC HELLP
ok so now that i have my xbox i want to conect it to my computer, via a router, the xbox can connect to the xbox live etc but the router does not seem to let it through to the PC, i have followed the step they tell you to do but its not working, can someone please help me with this ??

Have you got it plugged into the router using a cable or via wireless?

they are both plugged in via a ethernet cable

Ah I see what you mean.
Could be one of two things - either the router is blocking the port that the xbox is using, or the PC's firewall is blocking communication with the XBOX.
Check the router's settings & see if it allows xbox sharing. You might need to configure the ports.

i do not have the Windows firewall turned on so it shouldnt be that, how do i check the setting etc of the router, it is a Netgear router dont know if that makes a difference...

It is a NETGEAR Wireless-G Router (WGR614)
