The mount for the panhard is bolted to the chassis, check the bolts are good and tight as this can move at full lock and bang as well.

Hi Steve,

I had someone look at it for me because I couldn't tell where the noise was coming from. Apparently it's the track bar mount in behind the drivers side coil and not a cracked chassis. Is this a common fault?

I'll check the panhard bolts while I'm under there but I'm not sure where they are yet! .

Both the same thing, just depends who you ask So basically nothing else to check.

Great, thanks for that.

I tightened the panhard bolts and all 6 (including the 2 onto the chassis) were loose. It has done the trick - no more knocking noise!
