[QUOTE=Jeepology;1055009]I reckon that is a good summary however I have to say you cant generalise on dealers. I have a TJ that is fairly modified (4.5" RE SA's, 33" MT's, lockers and gears and exhaust and bars etc.
It has just come out of warranty and here is a list of things that my local dealer replaced and did (at no cost and without any duress)
1. New 6 speed gearbox
2. Rebuilt transfer case (probably caused by my after market d shaft breaking) (replaced chain, input shaft, case)
3. Throw out bearing at 40K
4. Fitted my steel Mopar corner guards (rear 1/4) for free
5. Fixed leak from A/C
6. Rear Main Seal Leak
7. Throw out bearing again (48km)
8. Idler tensioner pulley assembly
Thats a pretty good run, i"d hate to have to cough up for that out of my own pocket........must be SOME good dealers out there.
