As an extra: When we started using another search engine to get to google and have had no problems since...on the Laptop....although I have had the desktop down for about as long as your computer was until I was satisfied with the new PSU I am about to install.....going from 300W with very poor cooling ----original underrated to buggry to new one 600 W with 3 cooling fans. Together they made it tough going.

I'm gonna read the old hard drive thru a SATA conn. to reclaim the old "lost" data after I do the install.....I daresay I'll have lots of updating to do when its installed.

I now have 1 for each computer 500 Gig external harddrive. I do whole system copies to.

Good luck.
Hope its as simple as an alternate to Splorer.....worth a try.

firstly, who calls it "splorer"? that makes me even angrier than when people call it "exploder"
secondly, this thread is dead. rectified. closed.
thirdly, 90% of that post has nothing to do with the original thread.
....., none of it makes any grammatical sense.
....., using another search engine to get to google is stupid.
....., i'm pretty sure upgrading the PSU has absolutely no benefits to google or "splorer" nor does replacing the hdd. techs at google couldn't care less about what psu you use, and jeep owners care even less than that.
....., no one cares how you are going to access old data, it's a jeep forum and a thread about basic network connectivity issues. throwing in words like "sata" does not make you sound any smarter - actually quite the opposite.
....., if any hardware had to be replaced in the situation above it would be the freakin network card.

i'm so rediculously angry right now.
