Interesting comment about SIRF Star III dominating the Venus 6 chipset, the seller on Ebay describes it as "1 SEC ACQUISITION VENUS 6.0 TECH
BETTER THAN SIRF III". Can you please explain this? Good point about the data logging capability. Do you know if you can data log onto your HDD with Oziexplorer?

Exactly. I've now got Oziexplorer on my laptop but I haven't had a play around with it yet. I tried following some off road trails on Google Earth and you are right because they completely disappear in places due to the tree tops covering the tracks. I'm going to use a combination of Oziexplorer and Google Earth, do you know if it's possible to have both applications open together with your GSP location displayed on both programs simultaneously?
