Default 4WD Adventure Show - Sydney

The big 4WD Adventure Show is coming up in Sydney (Eastern Creek Dragway) at the end of this month:

http://www.4wdadventureshow.com.au/

I'll be working on the Sydney Jeep Club stand on the final day (Sunday the 29th) and my KJ will be on display there as well - decked out in its Desert Trip configuration. Any KJ people around Sydney that weekend should drop by if you can, as it is a fairly comprehensive show and all the 4WD Association Clubs will be there as well. I am hoping that we can get some of the nearly 1000 Desert Trip pics loaded up on a slide show for this event.

Jenko, gi-frog, CD, etc I hope to see you there.

Any chance of pics of your KJ in desert rig? I'd really like to see it.

Here you go:

Flinders Ranges but before the hard stuff further north. Desert Trip changes included the homemade rack and deflector, extra mounted spare, replaced the stock splash guards with soft rubber ones with holdback chains (to prevent them getting ripped off reversing in sand and mud). Next G external antenna on the rack (and that worked pretty well at least until we left this area), rear camping/work light on the rack. Changes you can't see include the auxiliary battery & box (covered elsewhere) and of course all the camping gear, food, water, etc crammed inside.

East of Nappa Merrie after the run through the Cullymurra section from Innamincka. Narva spotties added to the Nudge Bar since that trip.

If you'd like to see more, here is the link to the Photobucket album that contains a few. There are many more but I myself haven't seen them yet, these are just some from my camera (which was setup for PC size files). There will be many more on display or running on screens at the Show.

That rig achieved 8.8L/100kms on the highway so I'm prety sure the deflector worked.
