I've now done 2 coats on the roof and don't plan to do anymore as I just want to get it going now.. taking too long.

I've also done one coat on the flares.. this will need probably 3 coats. I still need to do the left hand side.

My build has slowed a little... . I now need to mount the winch to the front bar but I need to get some more small nuts & bolts.

Rock rails arrived yesterday, they look the goods but are too long and contact the rubber. So they will go on my Landy build.

I'll post some pics in the next few days when I get some more progress.

Updated pics..
The winch is secure but I didn't get around to putting powere to it.

I decided that I wanted some bushwacker flares

It's on and looks good, I need to lift the rear a little or lower the front.

I also mounted the rear tyre but I want to move it down a little.

I did some more work last night.. cut & fit the other rear flare. I also cut off both front flares and fitted one of them.. looking good.

I think I need to move the battery up front but an worried about how high it will sit.

It's now complete . I've yet to test the winch out on a track but that will happen soon enough.

Junfac Shafts are great, i have used them inna couple trucks. My advice to you is once you get them, there is a grub screw the pin in the uni, take that out and thread lock it. Me and 2 other mates had our shafts falling apart all the time until we realised that was the problem

How addictive is scale gear?? i have swags, fuel cans, pick axe and shovel, maxx trax type things etc there is sooo much its crazy.
RC4WD have 1.55in steel rims which are 5 stud too, defs need to get them =D

I've been thinking about a set of 1.55's Judd.

This is only $300, and as I've been looking for a set of more scale diffs this may be the way to go.

i looove RC4WD, 1.55s are the go, tyre range isnt big but get technical and learn something new.......chop a set of 1.9s to fit 1.55s, i did and they look awesome plus no one else has 1.55 trail busters =D

I love how your truck is getting heaps detailed, looks sooo good, have you seen the ARB diff hats for these diffs??

A list of part numbers for AXIAL scx10/scx10 TR/scx10 Honcho, price isnt up to date i dont think, but part numbers are the same.
http://www.crawlanz.com/viewtopic.php?f=41&t=113

I cant find the calculations chart i made but the pic is there. Obviously the taller tyre is the 1.9in. You can see in the pic the glue mark where it joins, i still have these some where and i dont think the have been driven on much but the are still together after atleast a year.

Hey Judd, I took your advice but the pin fell out. I didn't realise as I was going downhill, luckily I found the part of the shaft that had fallen off.... but not the pin. I then replaced the pin and put heaps of grease on it but it fell out again
I then used my last pin & tightened the grub screw, all good now... I hope.
