The lift kit from ARB (20-30 cm) cost around 1200 (kit only) about $1600 including labour, still too low. The kit from Mopar I think more expensive,I don't know exactly how high, but if like Mr T Said about 2-2.5'' (50-60cm) it looks all right if it's cheap, you can't raise more than 3''.The 4'' kit from JBA in USA cost around 3200 US$ plus about 750 US$ Delivery, the kit it's not hard to install by yourself, but you need the certificate from engineer for rego and isurance From 800 to 1500 OZ$ (look ridiculous) but the law is the law.

Thanks Van,

Might just have to go for the Mopar (50mm Lift). Spoke to Stu and would like his kit but my dealer thinks there would be warranty issue and since I have 6 years I'd best go for the mopar. The fitted quote was A$1700 thats with the extended shocks. Skids work out at A$360 fitted as the limited here in Oz has the Motor and tank protector already fitted so only need the Transfer and tranny. So I guess I'll get them fitted.

Does anyone know who makes the Mopar lift kit for Aust?

My dealer has been told they are made here.

Cheers Doc

Hi Doc,
If you don't mind could you let me know exactly the heigh after you lift it (less or more than 50mm) With the plate Skid,I recommend you do it yourself, first for saving money, second you can learn and knowing underneath of your car because if you go off road and you don't know anything about it,do not take a risk, there are many problem waiting ahead.
Cheer,

Van

Well the lift kit is on and might I say what a difference a day makes. The ride is better, the handling is better and the perv down girls tops is better (did I say that aloud?).

Match that with the new transmission and my new car is driving like a new car. I did'nt realise how bad the trans was.

But all good now.

Will take some measurements for you Van in the next couple of days, but I have no noticable sag to one side as has been mentioned. It all looks real nice in Mopar BLUE and SILVER....bit flash for my concervative nature but hey what the heck.
