Default Suspension lift JK - Brisbane

Can anyone suggest any reputable suspension suppliers in the Brisbane area? Looking at a 2.5"-3.5" lift for my 4dr JK, I have front and rear bars and winch.

Already got a quote from CRDSTU for his AEV and OME lifts, but just seeing if there are any other suppliers to talk to. I realise Stu supplies a 'premium' product (and I may still go for it), but maybe there is a more economical option to consider.

Appreciate any input guys

I would contact Vic at SBR Offroad for Teraflex or King or Evo gear (he can ship to you) or for Polly Performance (synergy) speak with Bill at DBOR, he can also ship to you

Talk to suspension stuff, located around Slacks Creek. He will be able to source you some cheaper options, which are still going to provide a quality result.

Give Stuart an Email he is a advertised dealer on here and is in Brisbane
There are some picks on this site of a 3.5" lift and bar work he fitted to a JK and then shipped back to the Customer in Cairns.
He was also looking at getting this approved in OLD
Murchison Product / CRDSTU is his user name

I would stay away from the ome springs as they are to short if you use long travel shocks, Wayne at JeepFord at Burleigh does custom Dobinson springs which work really well & you don't have to worry about dropping a spring or using spring retainers, the ome long travel shocks work well with the custom Dobinson springs & aren't ridiculously exspensive

Thanks for the responses guys, hey Allan I did contact Stu and was interested in the AEV and the fact he was trying to get it engineered, but its at the high end of what I wanted to spend.

Does anyone know if the QLD regulations are to be relaxed anytime soon? I remember hearing something about it. Either way I thought a 2.5"-3.5" lift with my setup should be pretty safe given the lifts I see some Toyotas and Nissans getting around with..

Mate, firstly welcome to the forum, my recommendation is do as much research and checking and talking to people before you do anything.

The type of driving you will do will also depend on what type of setup you get. ie touring, rock crawling etc.

There is nothing wrong with sourcing kits from reputable people interstate and having the gear fitted by a clued-up Jeep location such as Hammonds at Capalaba. So also check DBOR and what Bill can offer.

DONT be fooled by thinking some "generic" brands that are seen all over the Toyotas and Nissans will also make a good setup on your Jeep - they ARE different. But again, depends on what/how you intend to use the JK.

Good luck. Keep us posted with what you do.
