Nup, just as you head into Goughs Bay turn right, the dirt starts about 1km in.
Are heading anticlockwise I guess.
Wont have the TJ, the local rozzers in mansfied are red hot on anything with big rubber, lift etc etc.
Will have the Pootrol.

BTW, that pic was taken from the hill up behind where we camp. The arm you can see heading off from the main lake is Burnt Creek inlet. The lake was at about 82% here, its now 100% and still rising.

Hmmmmm, not a lot of serenity this year, more like Portsea.
I need to vent somewhere so I'm sort of derailing the thread.
After going to Big River since 1974, always on the Oz day weekend and catching a nice bag of trout in Taponga river without fail, I have to say that this weekend will be my last anywhere near Lake Eildon.
I think the best thing about this years camping trip was being stung by several jumping jacks. Finding a whole heap of rubbish buried next to the camp fire was far more unpleasant. Having some knob in a 4wd with the back end of his truck well into my path mid blind corner was also not a highlight.
A lot of work has been done in the region and soooooo many of the tracks are smooth as so I think there was some unofficial competition on to see who could raise the most dust.
One of the reasons we got the Jeep was to get to a camp site I've been seeing for the past nearly 40 years, I went to it the week after black Saturday and the swimming hole is so big and deep it was where the Heli's were getting their water from, this year however it was closed and destroyed. The reason? Some mutt had built a hut. The sign said ILLEGAL HUT FOUND. Thank you very little.
This meant that when we got back to Big River we were left with the dregs of sites. So much toilet paper, so much rubbish and the only level ground was on the road, oh well.
Still caught six nice trout but.

Unfortunately that's what you get..... More and more idiots have hit the Victorian bush in the last few years.

Take rego numbers, record details, and dob em in to Vic Parks, DSE, or the cops. Rubbish dumpers, idiots doing circle work in the campground, general twats. They cop a fine for mess, damage, and the cost of their clean up. It should teach them, just maybe.

Or take pics of them being annoying goons and post them on a site like outerlimits.com.
