HI folks, Hal here. Been lurking around for a while so I thought I'd better introduce myself. I don't actually have a Cherokee at the moment, but I'm looking to get an XJ over the next few weeks. Just familiarising myself with known probs etc while I'm here. Looking to get a cheapie and mod it, although I don't really want to get into the really serious off-roading, just hit the odd dirt track every once in a while when I can escape from Sydney. My background is heavy diesel and I'm also not too bad on the old MIG & TIG and machine tools. I usually do all my own servicing and I'm currently about halfway through a Suzuki RG500 motorbike rebuild. This will be a new experience for sure.
