its been almost a year now but hopefully im back on track with the build. sold the High Rock high access front bar but have replaced it with a new High Rock unit (full bar). gave Tigs a good bug bomb (heaps of redbacks fell out) and a thorough wash - just cleaning his house before going further. my boy butchered the electrics robbing the stereo system so now have to clean all that up as well (nuts and bolts everywhere left loose). two steps backwards but trying to go forwards. once the clean up is done i can start looking at motors again.

thanks Marcus, i never gave up on Tigger after near divorce. some pets are loved beyond reason lol

i thought before i reinstall the fuel tank (which is all prepped and assembled with a modified Novak pump/reg) id pull the rear bar and tire carrier off for a fresh coat of powder while i can still access all the bolts easily. this is quite a chore as all the rubber and working bits needed to be disassembled from each piece before the powder process. should have it all back early next week and then i can start putting it back together. im throwing in the fuel cap bezel as well while im at it (its chipped and faded). also need to do a rebuild one of the custom taillights as the lense filled with water over the years and everything is corroded beyond repair. two more steps back but thats the price for letting it sit outside for so long. i know im going from the outside inwards on this project but there is no sense having a V8 Jeep that looks crappy on appearance so want all this done upfront before i get into the guts again. iz a matter of scratching things off the list in order i guess and not the most glamorous part of the project but needs to be done nonetheless. onwards and upwards once again!

no - we reconciled and kicked the kids outta the house. so far so good - looks like we wont need visiting rights for Tigger lol
