Default Is ripley still open?

I was told by a mate that access to ripley was totally cut of now. That is both sides of binnies road are cut off. Can anyone confirm this?

Just to clarify I was out there about 3 months ago and eastern access from binnies road was closed but there was still access from the western side of binnies road off Grampian drive.

A new housing development is going in, last time I went out there an earthmoving compound with guard dogs had been set up with stock piles of large pipes

I took the bike for a spin today. The eastern side has a locked gate with signs that seem to target dirt bikes even more than 4WD's and a sign about cameras, fines and penalties.

The western side of Binnie Road now has a sign that the road is Private Property and that "trespassers will be prosecuted". Exactly how a road can become private property is a little beyond me.

There are also guard dogs in a fenced construction compound beside the road and other construction materials. They seem to be working down the road and have pipes and concreting shutters.

I would have gone in further but there were a couple of trucks going in and out so I gave it away. Maybe during the weekend.
