Default Rocky Road Winch

Good Morning..

I'm looking into the possibility of mounting the new winch to my 2012 GC.
I know there is difference between the current US model and the 2012 Aus model.

RR have requested that I send them a picture of the front end, and they will see if it's possible to fit.

Before I go ahead and take the car apart, does anyone maybe have some pics already of a 2012 with the bumper cover off?

Thanks
Chris

Sent the same email and pics to Glenn at Rocky Road outfitters three weeks ago. He replied he would have his engineers look at it but I haven't heard anything from him since.

As I understand it the American in bumper winch mount relies on the two mounts used for the two recovery hooks that are on the American model. The Australian model is the same as the Euro and has a different cross member in the front that only allows for one recovery hook and one crap eye thing (which has a lower load rating). It may be in spec for a winch mount but I was thinking of investigating wehether its possible or legal to replace the cross member with the American one?

I'm thinking the first bridge to cross is whether it will fit or not, if it does, the second hurdle is whether it complies with the ADR or not. If it doesn't fit, it is a moot point whether it complies with the ADR or not, it won't be able to be fitted here legally.
