Power Window Failure

Experiencing intermittent operation to Front passenger window today. Finally got it to return to the closed position whilst out and about today and do not want to risk trying get it down again to find it might or won't close.

Anyone experienced this issue...would appreciate any info

Is it binding in the door frame or intermittent switch function? The Stieger replacement mechanism will fix the problem of a lift mechanism failure, but the switch is another thing.

Seems to be intermittent switch function.....

You could remove the centre console switch group and check that there is voltage going to each of the windows in turn and this will tell you if the wire to the drivers window is getting juice from the switch. Someone on here recently replaced that switch group so you might be able to find a post on that and maybe a cost.

There are a couple of different switch modules and you'll need the right part number for yours, but a quick seach found one for sale here for the later model years for $57 USD:
