I'll add my name to the list with Auto Trans problems recently. 05 CRD Auto.
Just got back from 10 days in outback NSW/SA. Was constantly having issues with it sticking in 2nd (i think it was 2nd) until the rev's got up to 3000rpm then it would kick into the next gear. I read in the manual that when it gets hot this behaviour is expected? Then whilst on a particular rough track/road where was constantly slowing down for washouts the trans temp light came on on two seperate occassions. Each time I pulled over straight away to let it cool down.
Will be taking it in this week to get checked out.
Wasn't my only problem for the trip - but thats another story..
To me - Diff's, Auto's and overheating (all of which I have or have had) seem to be issues with the KJ's ??
