I'm not saying get your car serviced by this mob, only use it as a guide for comparable price and what is included in that service.

I service my vehicle myself and only use the dealers for the diagnostic computer they have.

Eventually I plan on getting this program for the laptop http://www.autoenginuity.com/ , the only program I have found that reads engine & trans computer codes.

If you have a good mechanic stick with him, I do my own servicing, always have for 2 reasons, I was never impressed with workshops and I couldn't afford it, plus I used to do heaps of FWDing so it got looked at a lot, now that would send you broke.
I have also found that good basic old time diagnostics, listen, look and think, has covered any problems I have had without using an electronic device which nowadays is a mechanics first choice and seems to not always be right and they miss the obvious.
While I'm not full speed with the WH but if you search around you will find plenty of good quality parts for it and decent prices for your CRD like I have for my 2.7 CRD.

The mechanic that I am looking at doing my servicing, fitted my Murchison Products suspension kit and various other bits to my WH lately.
He lives 100m from mine, picks it up and drops it off at no extra charge or hassle.
More so, he is a local mechanic that owns and operates his own busniness with no help (apart from his better half), so his reputation is so important to him, unlike a dealership who's main interest is getting them in and getting them out asap.....all about $.

Cheers, Craig
